New map for Overwatch postponed amid Blizzard harassman scandal

The media drew attention to Dexertos remote material, where the publication shared details of the new Overwatch map. The announcement is supposed to have been postponed amid the scandal about the harassman at Activision Blizzard. The new map is called Malevento.

This is an Italian Deathmatch card that should have appeared on the public test PC server as late as July 22. Dexerto noted that the fourth card for Deathmatch received both narrow corridors for short distance shootouts and more open spaces for characters such as Fatal Widow.

The test period was planned to last just over three weeks and will end on August 17, when the map would have appeared on the main servers on consoles and PC. Perhaps the plans will change now.
