New Rules for Dutch Going to Germany

Germany has set new rules for Dutch people coming to their country. If youre not fully vaccinated yet, youll need to quarantine when you arrive in Germany. After five days of quarantine, you can take a test. If its negative, you can go out of quarantine.

The rule applies to everyone aged 6 years and older. If youve had corona, you dont have to quarantine. Then you need to carry a recovery certificate, showing youve been cured.

Are you going to Italy or Austria, for example, and have to drive through Germany? Then you dont have to quarantine, but you must have a negative test with you. This allows you to travel across the country to another country.

Germany has set the rule because in the Netherlands there are many corona infections. The rule goes into place next Tuesday.
