New world record: 9 hours (!) shelves

Theres a new world record planking! As much as 9 hours, 30 minutes and 1 second, Australian Daniel Scali was able to balance on his toes and forearms like a shelf.


What makes the record even more special is that Daniel has a left arm condition. At the age of twelve, he fell off a trampoline and broke his arm. Since then he has an abnormality, which causes him to suffer from pain in his arm

During the record, he wore a special band around his arm to keep it up. And despite the pain, he managed to break the world record!

The previous world record belonged to a 62-year-old American. He planted 8 hours, 15 minutes and 15 seconds last year. So Daniel has gone over that in more than an hour!
