‘News from Poland: national champion wants to replace Van der Hart with Marciano’

Ofir Marciano may be leaving Feyenoord again after one season. News comes from Poland that Polish champion Lech Poznan is interested in the Israeli closing post.
Last season, old Eredivisie acquaintances Mickey van der Hart and Filip Bednarek alternately stood under the bar at Lech Poznan. However, Van der Hart will leave and the title holder is now looking for a new competitor for Bednarek. Different names go around in the Polish media, but SportoWefakty knows to report that Marciano is a serious option.
The 32-year-old goalkeeper traded Hibernian in Scotland for Feyenoord last summer, where he started working as Justin Bijlows stand-in. Due to various injuries from the same Bijlow, he reached nineteen official performances, but for the Conference League final against AS Roma, he had to give up his spot again. His contract in Rotterdam South continues for one more year.
