Tomonobu Itagaki, best known for Dead or Alive and contemporary Ninja Gaiden, announced the establishment of a new game studio, Itagaki Games. It has nothing to do with Tecmo and Valhalla Game Studios. Since the release of the controversial Devil‘s Third in 2015, according to Itagaki, he has been engaged in teaching, however, four years later in the developer, the thirst to make games again woke up.
It is noteworthy that initially Devil’s Third was to be released exclusively on Xbox 360, but because of changes within Microsoft and the focus on Kinect the game became interested in THQ, and after its collapse — Nintendo. According to Itagaki, it would be an “honor” for him to work with Microsoft again.
