Official: PSV also waves Mvogo after 53 games, following Thomas

It was already in the air and PSV has confirmed the news: Yvon Mvogo will not be playing in Eindhoven next season. In principle, the Swiss goalie returns to RB Leipzig, where his contract continues until mid-2023.
On the official channels, PSV thanks Mvogo for the services provided. Recently it came out that the Eindhoven residents were looking at the options to hold the closing post for another year, but PSV has refrained from that. Mvogo himself demanded to go to a club where he is first choice, making it unlikely that he will play at Leipzig next season.
During his two seasons at PSV, Mvogo came to 53 games, during which he kept his goal clean seventeen times. His PSV period was full of peaks and lows. In the first season, he was first choice, but that changed with the arrival of Joel Drommel. Halfway through the last season, Roger Schmidt made a change under the bar against AZ, but due to an error by Mvogo, Drommel was on target again in the game. In the final phase of the season, the Swiss was again first goalkeeper and won the KNVB Cup with PSV.
