‘Ok bye’: Sterling and Manchester City leave Super League for what it is

Manchester City has definitely left the Super League project behind it. The Citizens confirmed Tuesday night that they have set in motion a prodecure with which they want to withdraw.
Manchester City was one of the twelve founding fathers, which late Sunday night made the ‘birth’ of the Super League official. In England, however, it was soon said that the current Premier League leader was shocked by all the negative reactions to the plans for the new competition. Meanwhile they are the first to openly turn against the Super League.
