Old heroes return in first footage of new ‘Scream’

Entertainment Weekly has unveiled the first footage of the new film in the popular horror franchise Scream . The tape continues the story of the past four parts by telling of Sidney‘s new clash Prescott with a maniac under a Ghost Face mask. All the main performers returned to the central roles, including Neave Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette.

In addition to them, the first footage showed a host of young story participants who are certain will quickly find themselves victims of an attack by a mysterious killer. Among the latter are Dylan Minnet of 13 Reasons Why and Jack Quaid of the Gads.

The film is directed by the authors of the thriller I’m Going Looking Matthew Bettinelli and Tyler Gillette, and the new part of the series will premiere in Russia on January 13. The debut trailer is promised to show as early as tomorrow, October 12.
