Peter Bosz has put together his technical staff at Olympique Lyon, let L‘OL know through the official channels on Friday. The 57-year-old Apeldoorner is assisted in Lyon by three famous compatriots.
Bosz’s regular assistant Hendrie Krüzen becomes his right hand in France, confirms the club. The same goes for Rob Maas, who worked with Bosz at Vitesse and Bayer Leverkusen. Condition trainer Terry Peters also has a past in Arnhem and Leverkusen and is reunited with his compatriots in Lyon.
The technical staff is completed by former defender Claudio Caçapa and former goalkeeper Rémy Vercoutre. Brazil-born Caçapa won six country titles with Olympique Lyon after the turn of the century, stopped playing football in the 2011/2012 season and has been an assistant trainer since 2016. Vercoutre was under contract with Lyon between 2002 and 2014 and joined the Canadian Montreal Impact after completing his career. Soon he will return to Lyon as a goalkeeper trainer, where he will replace Christophe Revel.
Bosz was fired at Bayer Leverkusen at the end of March and gets another chance in Lyon. He signed for two years at the number four of the Ligue 1.
