Only two Dutch people during CL clash: Danjuma drops off at Villarreal

Arnaut Danjuma is missing at Villarreal in the Champions League clash with Liverpool on Tuesday night. The Dutch striker is not fit in time, the Spanish club says.
Danjuma still suffers too much from a muscle injury, which already kept him aside last weekend during the 2-1 defeat against Deportivo Alavés in La Liga. He is therefore missing from El Submarino Amarillos match selection for the return against Liverpool. The team of coach Unai Emery has to brush off a 2-0 defeat from the first match on its own field.
The lack of Danjuma will make itself felt at Villarreal. The Dutch international has become a mainstay at lightning speed, after coming over from Bournemouth last summer. He has been confident six times this season and gave one assist in eleven Champions League appearances. In the Spanish league, the 25-year-old forward signed for ten goals and three assists in 23 games.
At Liverpool, Virgil van Dijk appears at the kick-off. He is not the only Dutchman on the field. Danny Makkie is the referee during the meeting in the semi-final. The kick-off is at 9 pm.
