Opendas new club also announced: former Vitesse striker on the way to Lens

The French RC Lens will almost certainly be Loïs Opendas new club. This is reported by LÉquipe and the Gelderlander. The Belgian came out on rent for Vitesse in the past two seasons.
Earlier on Monday it became clear that Openda is on his way to the exit at Club Brugge, his actual employer. The Belgian champion was keen to keep it, but the striker hoped for a step. Openda has not joined training camp and has now almost found his new club with Lens.
It is not clear which transfer fee France number seven should deposit for the former player of Vitesse. Openda still had a two-year contract in Bruges. In his first months in France, the triple international already has a goal: to show itself, to be able to enforce a spot in Belgiums World Cup selection.
