Orange off on EC after loss against Czech Republic

A huge disappointment for the Orange and for all Dutch football fans. The Dutch team has been disabled at the European Championships. In the eighth final against the Czech Republic, the Orange lost 0-2.

At first the Orange seemed strong. In the first minute there was a chance for Denzel Dumfries. After that, things went less well and the Czech Republic got a few chances. They didnt go in.

Red card

In the second half, things went completely wrong. Matthijs de Ligt fell over the ball and made hands. He had to finish the field with a red card.

So the orange had to move by 10 men and that turned out to be very difficult. The Czech Republic scored the first goal in the 68th minute. In the 81th minute, the second goal fell and finally ended for Orange.

The players thanked the Dutch fans who traveled to Budapest afterwards.
