Italy started a draw against Bosnia-Herzegovina in Group 1 of the Nations League. The teammates of the Dutch Team got stuck 1-1 in Florence.
Edin Dzeko shot Bosnia from close range at 0-1 on 57 minutes, after the AS Roma attacker got the ball out of a corner at his feet.
About ten minutes later Stefano Sensi made it 1-1 with some luck. The midfielder from Internazionale shot the ball via a Bosnian leg past goalkeeper Ibrahim Sehic.
Bosnia misses chances to win
Italy then looked for the winning goal, but Bosnia was most dangerous with a hard shot from Ibrahim Sehic. Keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma did a fine save though. A dangerous effort by Muhamed Besic went close to the Italian goal in the final stages.
Italy will play its second game of the Nations League next Monday. The Netherlands will be the opponent in Amsterdam. Bosnia will receive Poland at the same time.
