Orange sets tennis rash against Gibraltar, Turks escape in minute 99

The Dutch team has taken another step closer to the 2022 World Cup. Louis van Gaal‘s team won well from football dwarf Gibraltar as expected and seemed almost certain of at least a second spot and a play-off ticket: number three Turkeywon in minute 99 (!) still of Latvia.
Van Gaal had made two changes to his lineup following the visit to Latvia: Georginio Wijnaldum returned from a suspension and supplanted Guus Til, while Noa Lang made his basic debut, as a replacement for the injured dropped off Cody Gakpo. Gibraltar braced itself for a rush in De Kuip, but had to bend within ten minutes. Virgil van Dijk headed unhindered hit after a corner: 1-0.
In the first half sequel, the rush hour remained for Bradley Banda’
s goal. The closing post had the opportunity to distinguish itself shortly after the opening target: the VAR perceived hands of Graeme Torilla and the ball went on the spot, but Banda stopped the Memphis Depay penalty. Not long after Memphis scored: Lang provided the opening, Davy Klaassen placed wide on Memphis and the 2-0 was a fact.
The final agreement of the first half was again for the VAR, who saw hands again. Memphis dared to build a second time from eleven metres and now managed to pass Banda: 3-0. Orange also shot out of the starting blocks in the second half: Lang took care of the brilliant preparatory work and gave for Denzel Dumfries, who headlined the 4-0 inside.
In the final phase, the invaders were allowed to show themselves. A quarter of an hour before the time, Arnaut Groeneveld โ€” joined the selection after Gakpo‘s dropout โ€” took the 5-0. Wout Weghorst seemed to fill up half a dozen moments later, but Roy Chipolina made sure that the ball didn’t pass the line in its entirety with a nice rescue. It turned out to be a postponement of execution, because Donyell Malen made the 6-0 a little later.
Orange can finish the chore against Montenegro and Norway in November. These countries already played against each other on Monday: Norway won and remains on two points in the Netherlands. Turkey was already surprised by Latvia in March and bumped itself against the same stone for a long time on Monday. Buryak Yilmaz, however, took advantage of a penalty deep in the extra time, leaving the Turks on four points of Orange.
