The original versions of GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas can no longer be bought from PC, PlayStation and Xbox digital stores. At the same time, the games are still sold in the App Store and Google Play. Rockstar announced the removal of the games last week.
At the same time, the company announced a remaster of the classic GTA trilogy called Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition — it will be released this year for everyone up-to-date platforms. Mobile versions of the games will not appear until next year.
The updated games will feature visual and gameplay enhancements while maintaining the spirit of the original projects. The trilogy isn‘t out yet, and fans are already asking Rockstar to release more GTA remasters.
