Painful elimination for three Bayer Dutch despite goal Frimpong

Jeremie Frimpong has made his first Bayer Leverkusen goal, but that joyful fact has been overshadowed by a painful elimination in the DFB-Pokal. Second Bundesliga mid-engine Karlsruher SC turned out to be too strong for Die Werkself on Wednesday night.
Bayer Leverkusen started with Frimpong and Mitchel Bakker as backs and saw Daley Sinkgraven raids shortly before time. The number four of the Bundesliga had to be pursued almost immediately after the kickoff, after Lucas Cueto‘s early 0-1. In the opening phase of the second half, however, Frimpong, who combined with Amine Adli and goalkeeper Marius Gersbeck passed in the far corner: 1-1.
Ten minutes later, however, Bayer went after the facts again, after goalkeeper Lukás Hrádecky blacked out. The Finn handed the ball in to Kyoung Rok Choi and the South Korean benefited gratefully with a shot in the short corner: 1-2, as well as keeping the cup adventure of the 2020 losing finalist.
