Paintings Picasso and Warhol show up at police raid Sweden

The Swedish police found paintings by Picasso, Andy Warhol and Chagall during a raid. This happened in an investigation into an alleged drug dealer. There are also cars, watches and jewelry confiscated.

The Swedes, in cooperation with the Spanish police, have been investigating a criminal organisation that may be responsible for large-scale drug trafficking from Spain to Sweden for two years. In December last year, several suspects were arrested, including the alleged leader of the organization.

The man was apprehended at his home in Helsingborg, after which several searches were carried out. The artworks of Picasso, Andy Warhol and Chagall have been found here, reports the police Wednesday. The man is at the mercy of Spain on suspicion of drug smuggling and money laundering.
