Paris Saint-Germain won Olympique Marseille for the second time in four weeks. Last month, Marseille lost 2-1 to PSG in the battle for the French Super Cup.
The club from Paris, with Mitchel Bakker on the bench, led with 2-0 after 24 minutes, Kylian Mbappé and Mauro Icardi scored. After that, the production fell silent. Star player Neymar fell in without success in the 65th minute. In the last minute, Dimitri Payet had to leave the field with a red card at the home club.
In the ranking, PSG remained third, on three points of the leader Lille, who won 2-0 at Nantes. Number 2 Olympique Lyon has two points less than the leader. Lyon defeated RC Strasbourg with 3-0 Saturday, thanks to two hits from Memphis Depay.
Canadian Jonathan David made both hits for Lille. He set his team at 1-0 in the 9th minute, and in the final phase he made the second hit by substitute Renato Sanches. Sven Botman played the whole game with the visitors.
Lille will soon compete against Ajax in the Europa League, first on 18 February in France and a week later in Amsterdam.
