PC and online games are preferred in Russia: a study by HP Global

HP conducted a study by the Global Gaming Survey. More than 13,000 respondents in 12 countries around the world, including Russia, spoke about how their attitude towards games changed during the pandemic. Predictably, in the changed conditions, games have become a way to take your mind off anxiety, chat and find friends.

Even those who have long abandoned games have returned to their hobby, 84% of them admitted this. As it turned out, only 10% of Russian players prefer singles.

The vast majority of gamers spend their time on online projects with other players, friends, and family, including grandparents. And the main platform in Russia remains the Russian Federation.
