PC Building Simulator in EGS picked up over 4 million players for free

PC Building Simulator, which is being handed out for free on the Epic Games Store until October 14, has already picked up over 4 million players. Just the day before yesterday, the figure was almost half that. For the first time, the PC Builder Simulator came out on Steam Early Access in March 2018, followed by a full release on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.

As journalists note that Epic Games pays generously to game creators to give the go-ahead for free giveaways. However, the amount differs depending on the technical complexity of the project.

For example, the deal with Subnautica developers cost $1. 4 million, while Super Meat Boy paid only $50,000.
