Remarkable news from RTV Oost: PEC Zwolle is considering filing a lawsuit against Bas Nijhuiss decision in the match against FC Utrecht (1-1). Mike Willems, technical manager of the degradant, confirms that.
Last weekend, PEC was the victim of inattention of Nijhuis, who acted as VAR. Gervane Kastaneer made the 1-1, but that goal was frowned upon for offside. Nijhuis, however, turned out to have drawn the wrong line. PEC then dragged a tie out of the fire, but it was of little use because the competition in the basement of the Eredivisie did win.

The decision isnt right for PEC to say the least. According to RTV Oost, the Zwolle club has already set out the first lines to file a lawsuit. The team of coach Dick Schreuder relegated from the Eredivisie on Wednesday evening by a 2-0 defeat against Sparta, but thus refuses to raise the white flag.
Afterwards, technical manager Mike Willems confirmed the plans. “I just made a few more calls. We put a number of people to watch it for us before this competition. There has also been contact with the KNVB. As combative as I am, especially now, I want to see if we can work on that in the coming days.”
“I dont know if its hope, but I dont want us to be wronged,” says Willems. “We have that feeling now. It was not an error of interpretation, but a technical error. That was not allowed to be made.”
PEC Zwolle is no longer committed to the relegation. They are considering filing another lawsuit against Bas Nijhuiss decision. To this end, the first lines have already been set out for the game with Sparta #peczwolle
