Performances: Van de Beek gets rare opportunity, also other Dutchman in base

Donny van de Beek gets the chance against AS Roma to show himself. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer lets the Orange-International start in the base, in the diptych that seems to be decided at first glance. At Roma, Rick Karsdorp starts in the base.
Van de Beek can start back in the base for the first time in a month and a half. The last time the midfielder from Nijkerkerveen was released from kick-off was in the FA Cup duel with Leicester City. Van de Beek was allowed to raids regularly during the last few weeks, although these incidents often only took a few minutes. With United, Van de Beek has to defend a 6-2 lead in Rome, to reach the Europa League final.
Roma also starts a Dutchman in the basics, although that is less unique. Karsdorp is a permanent force in the team of trainer Paulo Fonseca this season. It will therefore be difficult for Karsdorp and co. to make it to the final, looking at the starting position of the Romans.
The complete setups:
AS Roma: Mirante; Karsdorp, Smalling, Mancini, Ibanez, Bruno Peres; Cristante, Pellegrini; Pedro, Dzeko, Mkhitaryan.
Manchester United: The Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw; Van de Beek, Fred, Pogba, Fernandes; Greenwood, Cavani.
