The creators of Battlefield 2042 showed a new gameplay video, where they introduced the gameplay for a few more specialists. Last time, the Irishman was shown to users, and now Peter “Boris” Guskovsky, Webster Mackay, Wikus “Casper” Van Dale and Maria Falk have come into focus. Each of them has its own strengths and weaknesses, which the developers have explained in more detail on their website.
For example, Boris automatically identifies and attacks enemies in the selected zone, and is responsible for turrets. Webster uses the hook-cat and his agility to eliminate his opponent.
Wikus has a motion sensor and a scout drone, while Maria heals and resurrects allies. Insider Tom Henderson added that this gameplay was shown to the press in June at the game presentation, and this is an early version of the project.
Battlefield 2042 will be released on October 22 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC, and the beta could begin as early as September 22.
