Peters declares’ transfer ‘to Roda board room: ‘Prepared for three years’

Jordens Peters officially started a new life on Wednesday: the Berlicummer ended his football career this summer and continues as managing director of Roda JC. Peters has already focused on a career in football management in the last years of his career.
The central defender was out of rotation for more than a year between 2017 and 2018 due to persistent knee problems and realized that the end of his career was slowly coming into sight. โ€œActually, Ive been preparing for this position for three years,โ€ said Peters during his presentation in Kerkrade, quoted by De Cceit.
Peters completed a university degree during his career and also took part in the Central Players Council. โ€œIt was soon clear to me that I should not be a trainer,โ€ it sounds. โ€œAs a member of the central player board and the CFC, I gained some administrative experience. I wanted to go in a commercial direction.โ€
He seemed to be doing that โ€” after nine years of loyal service as a player โ€” with Willem II. โ€œThen suddenly Roda JC came my way,โ€ says Peters. โ€œFor me, this was an opportunity I couldn
t leave. Of course, taking Roda JC to the next level is a huge challenge. But I dont walk away from that.โ€
