Zeljko Petrovic sucks like a plug after Willem IIs tie against ADO Den Haag. The Tilburgers initially stood with 1-0, but saw the Hagenaren come along side. Petrovic thinks that ADO is happier for that reason with a point.
“We played stably”, Petrovic analyzes at the press conference, quoted by the Algemeen Dagblad. “Not a good football, but that also has to do with the stress surrounding this game. Then at some point we have three points in the bag and then we ruin it ourselves.”
Petrovic is therefore not at peace with the draw. “If you play against a direct competitor, you are not satisfied with one point”, says the Montenegrin practice master. “For ADO, it will feel better than for us given the game.”
To make it worse, Petrovic also saw Freek Heerkens fall out with an injury. “Freek was 100 percent fit. This is a year where everything really falls wrong with us”, concludes Petrovic whimpering.
