‘PhD student Fulham negotiating Arsenal reserve goal’

There is a chance that Bernd Leno will play for another club next season. Arsenal is negotiating a transfer with Fulham, reports Sky Sports.
Fulham is investigating multiple options, according to Sky Sports, but the fact that it is negotiating with Arsenal over Leno indicates that the interest is serious. Leno (30) still has a one-year contract with Arsenal and therefore does not have to cost the top prize.
Leno himself also seems to be seeing a switch, because he lost his base place at Arsenal. He was under the bar for three years, until Arsenal attracted Aaron Ramsdale. Leno came into action four times this past season. He previously played with VfB Stuttgart and Bayer Leverkusen.
Should the transfer go ahead, Leno will be Fulhams first summer acquisition, which was promoted to the Premier League. Kenny Tete is also under contract at Fulham.
