‘PhD student Watford wants to bring back 39-fold English international after 14 years’

Ashley Young is at 35 on the eve of a special transfer, reports Sky Sports. The 39-fold international of England seems to return to Watford, the club where it all began for him.
Young played in September 2003 (!) his first match on behalf of The Hornets and was caged to Aston Villa in January 2007. There he got the national team from England and decorated a transfer to Manchester United. The multifunctional defender and midfielder has been playing at Internazionale for a year and a half, but is out of his contract with the brand new Serie A champion.
So now beckons a return on Vicarage Road. According to Sky Sports, a one-year contract is already ready for Young and only the personal conditions for the transfer still need to be discussed. When the deal comes, Young will be on display in the Premier League: Watford relegated to the Championship last summer, but finished number two and returns after one year.
