Physiotherapists see more physical complaints due to working from home’

complaints resulting from working from home. These are problems with arm, neck, shoulder and back. Many homeworkers do not have their workplace in order, says Boris van der Vorst of FysioHolland in Trouw. His company employs 500 physiotherapists in 140 practices.

“People who work behind a laptop every day for hours on end get trouble”, says Van der Vorst. “A good posture requires a laptop holder, a separate keyboard and mouse, as well as an ergonomic chair and a well-adjusted desk”

The national physiotherapist organisation KNGF confirms the picture, which was also spotted by RTV Oost in May.
