Player report Orange: one mega-dissonant in team De Boer, three times a 7

The Dutch team finished the Nations League campaign with 2-1 victory over Poland. Football scoop reports of a crazy evening in Chorzów.Tim Krul – 6: Krul could do little at the goal of Poland. He later saw a ball landed on the pole, but to real efforts the goalkeeper of Norwich City was no longer tempted.
Hans Hateboer – 3: If Hateboer wants to be without a chance for a base spot at the European Championships, he must continue this way. The wing defender did not make any of it in the first half and it was not surprising that the Polish opening hit came from his side.
Stefan de Vrij – 5,5: In the absence of Virgil van Dijk, De Vrij must lead the Oranje Defense. That goes by trial and error. It is clear that after Van Dijk and Matthijs de Lit he is the best centre defender in the Netherlands, but in Chorzów De Vrij did not radiate that.
Daley Blind – 5.5: Why didnt Blind get off at the 0-1 of Poland? The defender could have seen with all his experience that Ajax-buddy Klaassen was not going to win the sprint duel by far. Then let himself cut out; goal.
Patrick van Aanholt – 6: got playing time from De Boer as a replacement for Owen Wijndal, who made an excellent impression against Spain and Bosnia. Although he gave a few nice stitch passes, the left-back does not harvest more than a tight enough one.
Davy Klaassen – 6: painful how Klaassen could not keep up with the fast Jozwiák. We had not seen that since his return to the Netherlands. He then recovered nicely, but it was – literally – slither and glide on the Polish grass.
Frenkie de Jong – 7: one of the better Orange players Thursday night. De Jong is the starting station of almost every attack, but sometimes figures itself out too much. Worth gold as a balafpakker.
Georginio Wijnaldum – 7: against Bosnia important with two goals and in Poland he added one more to his Orange total. The most offensive midfielder of Orange also decorated the penalty kick for the equalizer.
Calvin Stengs – 7: certainly not a meritorious performance by Stengs, who replaced Steven Berghuis in the base. The race footballer brought for rest Donyell Malen and Georginio Wijnaldum in position, but the two failed (initially) to score.
Memphis Depay – 6: on paper he started as a left outside, but in practice, Memphis was mainly hanging around at rush hour. Little succeeded there. From the point of penalty, the Orange Vedette found the net. And how.
Donyell Malen – 6: the talent is dripping off at Malen, who is not yet able to turn its potential into a series of convincing competitions this season. Also against Poland the PSV showed his class more than once, but lacked the last piece.
Denzel Dumfries – x: fell in for Hateboer after 57 minutes. Was in any case more defensive than its predecessor, but could not leave his mark as against Spain and Bosnia.
Steven Berghuis – x: fell in for Stengs after 70 minutes and played too short for a review.
Donny van de Beek – x: fell in for Klaassen after 70 minutes and played too short for a review.
Owen Wijndal – x: fell in for Van Aanholt after 70 minutes and played too short for a review.
Luuk de Jong – x: fell in for Blind after 84 minutes and played too short for a review.
