Robert Lewandowski may miss the home duel of Poland with the Dutch team in the Nations League on Wednesday. According to several Polish media, the 32-year-old striker suffered a muscle injury from the lost away game against Italy on Sunday (2-0).
Lewandowski played the whole game against Italy. The attacker was visibly annoyed by his squads weak play and escaped a red card when he hit an opponent with an elbow.
According to some Polish newspapers, the injury of the top scorer of Bayern Munich is not easy. Lewandowski would be particularly annoyed by the tactical choices of coach Jerzy Brzeczek.
Poland has a small chance to win the group of the Nations League, just like the Netherlands. Both teams can still finish at the top of the group if Italy goes wrong during the away match against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
