Pressure on Bosz increases even further, Orange-tinted Atalanta keeps winning

The pressure on Peter Bosz has increased even more in France. The Dutch trainer has already lost for the fourth time in a row. The Dutch-tinted Atalanta Bergamo continues to perform very well in Serie A. In Russia, Quincy Promes Spartak helped Moscow win.
RC Lens – Olympique Lyon 1-0Before the fight at Lens, Bosz was already not firmly in the saddle near Lyon. The Dutchman is working on a bad run with Les Gones, while the club already had a disappointing season led by the practice master last season. So for Bosz, it was crucial to win over Lens, which is doing surprisingly well this season.
From the first minute, however, Lyon had a tough time. Lens appeared fresh and strong, while little was reflected in Bosz‘s offensive intentions. Lyon was therefore happy that it was 0-0 after the first half. In the second act, the visitors were a bit more stable defensively, but at the forefront it didn’t want to go smoothly.
Ten minutes before time, things went wrong for Lyon. After an intervention by the VAR, Lens received a penalty for a handball. It was used and Lyon was no longer able to overcome the 1-0 backlog. That means Bosz‘s fourth loss in a row. This means that the pressure on the Dutchman is increasing even more. A week ago, Lyon Bosz defended in a statement, but the question is how long the club will keep its trust in the coach.

Atalanta – Fiorentina 1-0With Hans Hateboer, Teun Koopmeiners and Marten de Roon, Atalanta had a very strong first block of the competition. Even after the international break, the team continues to win. With the Dutch trio in the base, Fiorentina was defeated on Sunday. Atalanta wasn’t exactly the parent, but Ademola Lookman made the only hit of the game. As a result, Atalanta is second in the competition, with as many points as the leader and Ajax opponent Napoli.

Nizhny Novgorod – Spartak Moscow 1-2Promes was the big man at Spartak this weekend. The Russian superpower was much better than its opponent, but still had a hard time attracting the match. However, thanks to two Promes delights, that was still possible. The Dutch international – who in the Netherlands suspected of attempted murder, domestic violence and synthetic drug smuggling – gave an acrobatic assist and scored by doing a Panenka. As a result, Spartak is also fourth in Russia.
