A transfer from Quincy Promes to Moscow Spartak seems to be getting closer. The Ajax player has reached an agreement with the Russian top club on the personal terms.
Sport24 reports that. The Russian medium already reported earlier on Sunday that the clubs have almost agreed on the transfer fee. A few hours later there is news again: Spartak and Promes are also out. Promes is reported to sign in Russia for 3.5 years, until the summer of 2024. Spartak pays him 2.7 million euros each year plus bonuses. This makes Promes the most expensive player in the selection, according to Russian media.
At the beginning of this month it became clear that Spartak was working on a return of Promes, but the Russian top club did not have the resources to pick him up from Ajax. By selling Aleksandr Kokorin to Fiorentina, the club has opportunities again. Promes will also succeed Kokorin at Spartak.
Promess contract with Ajax runs until the summer of 2024.
