NAC Breda and De Graafschap have both suffered a lethal defeat. The two promotional candidates had to bend their head to a pledge squad. There was plenty to enjoy at Volendam against Roda JC.
Jong Ajax – NAC Breda 6-3The beginning of the Pearl of the South was still so good. Ralf Seuntjens opened the score on The Future after three minutes of play and a simple evening was ahead, but that was a bit different. Jong Ajax, where with Danilo, Kenneth Taylor and Victor Jensen three A players were in the base, straightened his back and scored no less than four times before rest.
The trio of the first team of Amsterdam mers each took one goal, after which Youri Baas also hit the scoreboard. After rest, goals fell as easy as in the first half. Youri Regeer made the 5-1, Thom Haye took care of the second Bredase goal with a brilliant free kick, substitute Max de Waal did that trick across the street and finally Seuntjens decided the final score at 6-3.
Jong AZ – De Graafschap 2-1AZ‘s promises have been a ‘fear gegner‘ for De Graafschap for years and they once again lived up to that status on Monday night. Peer Koopmeiners, brother of the Teun left for Atalanta, scored within the fifteen minutes and the Superfarmers couldn’t stand against that in the first 45 minutes. The formation of trainer Reinier Robbemond did come out of the locker room very well after halftime.
Three great opportunities were played together and one of them was exploited by Elmo Lieftink, which resulted in the prospect of a good result in Wijdewormer. That didn‘t come and it was due to Yusuf Barasi. The eighteen-year-old attacker was in the right place to tap in minute 61 and that hit the guests from Doetinchem were no longer overlooked.
FC Volendam – Roda JC 2-2Last year, the hitting between Volendam and Roda ended in 3-4 and this edition, albeit with fewer goals, became very spectacular. Robert Mühren took advantage of a slipper by Richard Jensen in the first half and set his team 0-1 with that gift, but after half time Daryl van Mieghem returned a present to the Limburgers. He grabbed an oildid red card and got his team in trouble with it.

Roda turned on in excess and got wages to work twenty minutes before time when the invaded Boy Deul headlined in his own goal. In the final phase, everything happened: Denzo Kasius drove ten Volendammers and the entire stadium crazy by skirting into the 2-1 three minutes before time, but a minute later a mind-boggling free-standing Stefano Marzo made it 2-2. It stayed with that.
