‘PSG wants to hijack potential Barça deal and reports to Manchester City’

Paris Saint-Germain is working on the arrival of Bernardo Silva, reports The Times. The Parisians hope to outsmart FC Barcelona, which also has far-reaching interest in Manchester Citys Portuguese.
Silva would not be reluctant to a departure from Etihad Stadium. Partly for this reason, a personal agreement should not cause problems, it sounds. PSG is willing to pay 70 million euros for Silva, whose contract with City continues until the summer of 2025, and the reigning French national champion sees the agile midfielder as a key player to win the first Champions League final victory.
In addition to PSG, Barcelona also wants to take over Silva from The Citizens, although these negotiations are more complex. Xavi Hernández has Silva high on his wish list, although the playmaker can only come when Frenkie de Jong is sold. For the time being, it does not seem that the Dutch international is leaving Catalonia.
Silva has been playing for City since the summer of 2017. Before that, he played for AS Monaco and Benfica. In England, among other things, he seized the national title four times and won one FA Cup.
