PSV adds threesome to 67-headed (!) Europa League Selection

Erick Gutiérrez will soon be deployed in the Europa League clashes between PSV and Greek Olympiakos Piraeus. The Mexican left leg missed the entire first half of the season due to an ankle injury and was therefore not enrolled in the group phase of the Europa League.

Gutiérrez made his return against Ajax on 10 January and has also been found fit enough for the Europa League. PSV added him to his 67-headed (!) player list, with players from the A-selection and from Jong PSV, which has been submitted to the UEFA.
The same goes for 18-year-old Norwegian Fredrik Oppegard, who made his official debut on behalf of the main power just before the holidays. Dante Rigo can also be used in the Europa League: the Belgian was lent to ADO Den Haag before the winter break, but was brought back early.
PSV finished first in its Europa League pool in mid-December with Granada, PAOK Saloniki and Omonia Nicosia. In the sixteenth finals, Roger Schmidts team is linked to the Greek Olympiakos Piraeus, where mercenary Bruma is active. The heenduel in Greece takes place on Thursday 18 February, the return at the Philips Stadium is one week later.
