PSV confirms bad news: Madueke suffers ‘serious ankle injury’

PSV cannot appeal to Noni Madueke for the time being, the Eindhoven club confirms Friday evening. The English attacker has suffered a serious ankle injury and is out again for a longer period of time.
Madueke is absent for the time being, โ€œpossibly until the end of the first half of the season,โ€ says PSV. Thats mid-November, around the World Cup in Qatar. Maduekes loss is yet another setback for PSV, but especially for the player himself. Madueke falls from one injury to another and has never been fit over a longer period of time.
PSV will have to improvise at the forefront in the coming period. Not only Madueke is absent, trainer Ruud van Nistelrooij cannot dispose of Yorbe Vertessen against Ajax and AS Monaco either. The Belgian is recovering after appendicitis. Carlos Vinรญcius has still not recovered from a hamstring injury either.
For PSV, the competition starts unofficially on Saturday with the game with Ajax. Next Tuesday, Monaco will be the opponent, after which the competition start starts against FC Emmen. Three days later, it hits Monaco again.

We know youll come back stronger Noni ๐Ÿ™ Good luck with your recovery โค
