PSV lineup ahead of Late Night program Sunday announced

PSV concludes this curious Eredivision Sunday with a home game against Sparta: both clubs will start the first Sunday night game of this Eredivision season at 8pm. Trainer Roger Schmidt has held onto the basic elf of the Europa League game with Thursday‘s Sturm Graz.
Joël Drommel, Philipp Mwene, André Ramalho, Olivier Boscagli, Philipp Max, Ibrahim Sangaré, Marco van Ginkel, Mario Götze, Ritsu Doan, Eran Zahavi and Cody Gakpo kicked off Thursday at the Merkur Arena: the field occupation will be the same on Sunday at 8pm. Yorbe Vertessen recorded the 1-4 final score in Austria, but has to satisfy himself with a seat on the couch. The same goes for Deadline Day newcomer Carlos Vinícius.
Sparta doesn’
t have a big deal in the back left, after Mica Pinto and Aaron Meijers opposed a suspension in an appeal case: right-footed Luxembourger Laurent Jans makes his basic left-back debut. Furthermore, Sven Mijnans is new compared to the 0-4 lost home game against SC Cambuur: Lennart Thy starts on the bench.
PSV saw rivals Ajax and Feyenoord lose earlier on Sunday and can get a little closer to Ajax just before the international period. At a victory, the Eindhovenaren jump over Feyenoord, Willem II and FC Utrecht and get to one point from the front runner. However, Sparta can also use the points hard: in the event of a draw or a surprising win, the Castle Club climbs above the relegation strip.
