Andreas Pereira faces a departure from Manchester United. The Brazilian midfielder with Belgian passport was rented to Flamengo last season, but that club does not use the option to buy.
Flamengo was able to highlight the option for 10.5 million euros, but refrains from it, reports transfer expert Fabrizio Romano based on Brazilian sources. That means that while preparing for the new season, Pereira will join United, where he has a standing contract until the summer of 2023. It is true that Romano reports that Erik ten Hag and his family are open to a departure from the midfielder.
Thats good news for PSV, that Pereira is reportedly happy to hold back in arms. The 26-year-old right-footed went through the youth training of the Eindhoven residents until the O17, before transferring to United. Pereiras market value is estimated at 7.5 million euros, so PSV has to pull the wallet for its own youth product.
