“PSV monitors the operations of the new Lautaro Martínez”

Carlos Alcaraz, aka Charly, is on PSV‘s wish list. This is reported by Spain’s Marca, who knows that the necessary clubs of the Iberian Peninsula are also interested in the Argentine attacker.
Alcaraz is called the new Lautaro Martínez in his homeland, because he also experienced his breakthrough at Racing Club. The nineteen-year-old footballer only plays not as a deep striker, but as an attacking midfielder or winger. Racing hopes to keep a million dollar sum left to the apple of their eye.
That could happen if all clubs interested in Alcaraz go against each other. PSV has competition from Arsenal, Juventus, Internazionale, AC Milan and the necessary Spanish clubs, among others. The midfielder is still stuck at his club until mid-2026 and has a limited lump sum of 24 million euros in his contract.
Marca knows, however, that an amount of nineteen million euros should also be enough to reach an agreement with Racing. It remains to be questionable whether PSV will pay that for a player who has only played 58 matches in all competitions at the highest level.
