Anwar El Ghazi is coming to PSV. The club was already out with Aston Villa about the transfer fee, but has now also reached agreement with the player, report Voetbal International and the Eindhovens Dagblad.
PSV hopes to approve El Ghazi on Tuesday or Wednesday. So it is not completely complete yet, but the fact that the attacker has given his yes, creates sufficient confidence in Eindhoven that things will work out. PSV and Aston Villa already agreed on the transfer fee, which allegedly amounts to 2.5 million euros excluding bonuses, but had yet to reach an agreement with the player. El Ghazi earns a Premier League salary that PSV cant cough up, but both sides have come out.
The arrival of an attacker was a priority for PSV, which, after the loss of Luuk de Jong and – especially – Noni Madueke, had few flavors in the front. El Ghazi broke through at Ajax and made the switch to the French OSC Lille in 2017, which rented it out and sold it to Aston Villa. He also came out for Everton on a rental basis.
PSV has said yes from El Ghazi and now thinks it will close transfer soon. See: https://t.co/0aOZvwkrgE
