PVV’er Sietse Fritsma back in House of Representatives

PVV’er Sietse Fritsma returns as a Member of Parliament. He replaces his party colleague Gabriëlle Popken until the elections in March 2021. She has been absent for several months due to illness. Popken was in the Lower House for more than three years, before that she was in the Upper House.

Sietsma returns after he left the Chamber in October 2019 to become an entrepreneur. Fritsma is a PVV from the very beginning and was a member of the Chamber of Deputies for the party since 2006.

He was mainly concerned with the immigration and asylum files in the Chamber. It is not yet known whether he will get this portfolio again. Popken spoke on defence matters.
