Rainbow Six Siege, creative director, leaves the project for the sake of other games

Leroy Atanassoff, creative director of Tom Clancys Rainbow Six Siege, announced that he was leaving the project to work on other Ubisoft games. โ€œI would like to announce that I am leaving my position as Creative Director of Siege for other opportunities at Ubisoft. It wasnt an easy decision for me โ€” I love the game and its community so much, and Im really proud of the work that the team and I have done over the past two years.

But Im sure Im doing the right thing. โ€ Atanassofe will be replaced by Alexander Karpazis, who previously served as the projects art director.

His track record includes Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Watch Dogs, Watch Dogs 2 and Far Cry 5. Karpazis has been working on Siege for the past four years.

The new creative director noted that Atanassoffs contribution will be visible in the coming seasons of Rainbow Six Siege, and the team is working hard to improveโ€ The most ambitious year in the history of the game. โ€ And on January 20, Rainbow Six Extraction will be released.
