Rapper Blacka arrested in investigation into deadly stabbing

The foreman of the Rotterdam drill rap group 24, rapper Blacka, has been arrested in the investigation into a stabbing on the Pier in Scheveningen, reports Omroep West. During the stabbing on 10 August, 19-year-old Cennethson ‘Chuchu’ Janga was killed.

On Friday, the Public Prosecutor’s Office reported that a 17-year-old citizen of Rotterdam had been arrested. This turns out to be Blacka; he is suspected of sedition and open violence. Earlier, two 20-year-old Amsterdammers had already been arrested in connection with the case.

About the confrontation between drill group 24 and the rival 73 De Pijp from Amsterdam he said that “this whole drill beef didn’t make sense” (‘beef’ means arguing in street language). Blacka tried to keep aloof, but he did not succeed because his family was seriously threatened, he says.
