Christina Ricci asked a judge in Los Angeles on Wednesday for a restraining order against her husband. In June, the actress filed for a divorce from James Heerdegen, who was already given a temporary restraining order.
According to Christina, who broke through at the age of 10 with the film Mermaids (1990), her marriage to James became violent at the end of 2019. He would have beaten her during multiple attacks, spit her, dragged her around the house and thrown coffee at her. In the court papers, owned by TMZ, she states that in a number of cases the six-year-old son of the couple, Freddie, has seen the abuse.
The actress also demands that her prospective ex be prohibited from making certain video and audio recordings public. Shed be afraid hell try to extort her by threatening to leak the tapes.
Jamess lawyers deny the abuse and let TMZ know that he is working on legal action against Christina, who they believe is the one who is acting aggressively, “caused by the use of drugs and alcohol.” Yet the judge issued the restraining order for James Wednesday. For now, he has to keep a hundred meters away from Christina, Freddie and the family dog.
