Achraf Hakimi is about to knock Dayot Upamecano off the throne as the most expensive player of this transfer summer. The Moroccan wing defender of Internazionale will officially commit to Paris Saint-Germain on Thursday, reports the French RMC.
Hakimi has been linked to PSG for a long time, where he can start drawing for five seasons. Both clubs have been stepped over the transfer fee for some time, but according to RMC, have reached an agreement of around 60 million euros. Real Madrid trained and broken through Borussia Dortmund wingback will be medically tested in Paris on Thursday. Inter director Beppe Marotta has already announced in Italian media that the deal will be closed within 24 hours.
The new team mate of Georginio Wijnaldum now releases Upamecano — for 42.5 million euros from RB Leipzig to Bayern Munich — as the most expensive player of the current transfer period. Hakimi doesn‘t seem to be able to enjoy this record very long: Jadon Sancho is about to exchange Borussia Dortmund for Manchester Unite, for an amount of 85 to 95 million euros.
