Roda JC has won a victory over the talents of FC Utrecht. The Limburgers did not play a particularly good game, but they did play the longest end: 2-1.
Roda JC – Jong FC Utrecht 2-1The guests from the Domstad took the direction in their hands and had the lead after 19 minutes. Jeredy Hilterman pricked a hit and made the deserved 0-1, but that did scare Roda awake. The Koempelclub came for rest on 1-1 via Erik Falkenburg and decided the race in minute 59. Patrick Pflücke entered a phase in which it was Jong Utrecht who dominated the resistance of the guests.
Roda was able to use the points perfectly in the battle for a play-off ticket. The Kerkradenaren are now ninth and are facing three points behind Telstar, which stands eighth and currently occupies the last playoff spot. Jong Utrecht could have ended up in the left row with a victory, but is now the number fourteen.
