Feyenoord does not have to count on the support of home fans in Tirana during the Conference League final against AS Roma. At least, thats what Marash Kumbulla assured his Roman teammates.
Albanias international knows for sure that his compatriots are behind I Giallorossi. “Kumbulla reassured us,” says Roma player Gianluca Mancini at the press conference, quoted by Voetbal International. “He told us about the city, about the surroundings, and he said home fans will encourage us. Of course, thats a lot of fun to hear.”
AS Roma concluded the Serie A season on Friday with a 0-3 victory at Torina. Unlike coach José Mourinho, Mancini is not afraid that Feyenoord will benefit from the extra rest. “They could afford to rest a little more. But we played on Friday, so we had time to recover. And like I said earlier, were in a final. We cant afford to relax. Physically and mentally, we are fine.”
