According to insider Tom Henderson, the new part of the Skate series may be presented in the near future. It is reported that playtests are currently underway – the game is under quality control. It is also known that the project is still called Skate, which may indicate the upcoming restart of the series, and not a numbered sequel.
The sources of Henderson suggested that the game is in development much longer than expected. Recall that the new Skate was announced back in June 2020 at the EA Play presentation.
Later it became known that the Full Circle studio was opened in Vancouver to work on the game, led by Daniel McCulloch, the former head of Xbox Live. Meet Deran Chang and Chris Perry, who worked on the previous parts of the series.
Chang is the head of development, and Perry is the creative director.
