Russian opposition leader Navalny can go to Germany

The Russian opposition leader Aleksey Navalny is transported to a German hospital. Doctors in the hospital in the Russian city of Omsk have given permission. According to them Navalny’s condition is now sufficiently stabilized.

Navalny was admitted yesterday morning in serious condition after becoming unwell in an airplane. According to his spokesman, he was poisoned.

Arts initially refused to give permission to move Navalny to another hospital because his condition would be too bad. German doctors then flew to Omsk to examine him.
