Sahara: the situation in El Guerguarat is calm and normal (authorised sources)

The situation in El Guerguarat is calm and normal, authorised sources said Sunday morning, adding that road traffic between Morocco and Mauritania, and beyond towards sub-Saharan Africa, is in no way disturbed.

Despite the propaganda and uneventful harassment of the Polisario militias, the situation at the El Guerguarat border crossing, as in the whole of the Moroccan Sahara, is calm and normal.

Road traffic between Morocco and Mauritania, and beyond to sub-Saharan Africa, is in no way disturbed, the same sources said.

In accordance with the high i of King Mohammed VI, Supreme Chief and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), the Guerguarat passage has been secured by the FAR, pointed out the same sources, recalling that since November 2020, the militias of the Polisario carry out harassment, in a desperate reaction following the security of the passage.

Alongside this, the authorised sources continue, Algerian-Polisarian propaganda tries in vain to show a war zone, through fake news, war releases, dispatches and prefabricated reports on imaginary clashes.
